Vegetarian Lunch: Brie, Avocado & Tomato Toastie

I am starting a series of recipes and food ideas for vegetarian dishes. Some of these have been done a thousand times before, or is something I have come up with myself. Either way, I thought I would like to share how I eat healthily or indulge on a varied vegetarian diet!

Here is my absolute favourite lunch at the moment. I gave up dairy for a while, however I am finding myself gradually getting back onto cheeses such as brie and mozzarella. I tend to avoid dairy if I can still, but this is such a luxurious and delicious treat and something I just crave all the time and allow myself to have on those days I need a bit of cheering up or comfort food!

This is great as a toastie/sandwich, but if you’re watching your weight or trying to cut down a little bit, just make it an open sandwich by using 1 slice of bread instead of two, and use slightly less brie by cutting it slightly thinner.

Keep reading for how I make this!

High-End/Luxury Makeup Starter Kit

Just about a year ago, I decided to start my journey into more high-end make up, starting with the YSL Touche Eclat, then moving onto my first bottle of my beloved NARS Sheer Glow.

After many trials and tribulations, I definitely have a core set of luxury make up which I always go to and I thought I would share it for those also wanting to try to branch out into more luxury products. Beware, the whole set costs £262, and these are literally just the basics.I haven’t factored in eye brow products or eyeshadow, as I don’t wear these on a daily basis, however I have included everything else I use on a daily basis.

I would also just like to mention that I don’t just use these, I find my best face can be achieved with a mix of drug store and luxury products, however if you’re looking for something more high end in your basics, then I hope you can take some inspiration from my list!

REVIEW: Garnier Moisture Bomb DAY Cream

After my new-found romance with the Garnier Moisture Bomb Night Cream, I have decided, and by popular demand, so review the day cream as well! I’ve been trying it out for about a week now, wearing it underneath my makeup for work or day-to-day activities.

How to get through a bad day

girl, tea, and art image

After having quite a few of these at the moment, I thought it would be a good post to write.

Everyone has bad days and for all kinds of reasons. These could be down to relationship stress, things not going well at work or school, falling out with a friend, losing someone – for whatever reason.

However, when it does happen it IS rubbish. You feel like the world is ending and there is no way out. BUT, you shouldn’t feel like this. There are ways of getting through a bad day and as someone who knows these days all too well, I also know the best ways around them. These might not work for you, but all of them have worked for me in one way or another and I hope if you’re having one of these days that one of these can work for you, too.

Spring Fashion Lust List!

As you can probably tell, most of my posts have been about beauty products which I absolutely love as my beauty regime changes all the time. However, now that we are coming into a new season of fashion and (hopefully!) warmer weather, I thought I would do a post about what I am currently lusting after for SS16! I have gone for high street option as someone on a graduate salary might… after all, I’d prefer to lust after something I can afford!

Let me know what you think about these pieces, as I have been really enjoying reading other people’s similar posts. Hopefully we can all give each other a bit of inspiration!

All these products are linked and are in no way affiliated or sponsored.

My favourite drugstore/high street make up 2016!

I am really loving drug store or high street products at the moment, and I thought I would do a post on my favourite ones here. I am definitely of the mindset that these can be just as good, if not better, than many high end products. The price, in a lot of cases, doesn’t reflect the quality of the product and if it’s expensive, it doesn’t mean you’re going to love it. Obviously I am not an expert, but these are the products that I use most from the drug store and really rate.

REVIEW: Rosie for Autograph Makeup

I never really consider M&S as somewhere to go for beauty, nor do I go for celebrity makeup ranges or perfumes. However, when I saw my favourite makeup artist Lisa Eldridge do a tutorial on Rosie Huntington-Whitely on her Youtube channel, I thought she looked absolutely amazing and definitely wanted to try out the Rosie for Autograph products.
