Eeeee! It’s that time of the month again! No, not that, it’s the beauty box time and this month I have the pleasure of opening the March Glossybox!
I was really happy that this month’s theme was ‘Get Glowing’, something that I really need after these winter months! So, even more than usual, I was very excited when I came home from work this week to find this cute little box waiting for me. I’ve reviewed (most) of the products in the box this week so you can see for yourselves. Trust me, this month’s a good one!
- Luxie Rose Gold Large Angled Brush
I was SO happy with this product. I’ve been looking to get into contouring a bit more as I feel like it hasn’t been appropriate over winter, being as pale as I am currently! I’m really looking forward to using this brush, as it’s so soft, is a perfect shape for cheek bones and such a lovely colour that goes so well with my rose gold Zoeva set!
2. Olay Regenerist Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream
I was excited to try this product as it addresses the biggest problem I have with my skin – an even tone. Adding luminosity is also an added bonus. I was quite disappointed with the size of the sample – it’s soooo tiny! So I guess I won’t be able to see any long term effects. However it does make my skin feel very soft and smooth afterwards, so I can see some potential.
3. Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Serum
I LOVE this! It smells so gorgeous and my skin feels amazing afterwards! I never usually put honey-based products on my face, as I see it as more of a hair ingredient. I don’t know why, I just do! So I was surprised but loving it on my face. It also has propolis in it too, which I have heard is a really good anti-pollutant on your skin. Again, the size was pretty small, but my skin looked really lovely and glowy after using. I really like this product and do feel tempted to have a look at getting the full size one.
4. -417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner
I have to admit I haven’t tried the shampoo and conditioner yet as I am going on a skiing holiday at the end of March and thought these would be perfect travel sizes to put in my hand luggage! However these do look right up my street as they contain a combination of Dead Sea moisture balancing minerals, energising vitamins and essential oils to leave hair gleaming and hydrated. I’m really looking forward to using these – and the packaging looks nice, too!
5. Collection Speedy Highlighter
I have a thing for highlighters at the moment after recently re-discovering Benefit’s High Beam. I must admit I wasn’t too bothered about trying this as I was being quite snobby, having lots of decent high-end highlighters. But, I was wrong! This highlighting stick is stunning! I really like it and think it would look absolutely amazing with a tan. It’s a bit darker than the usual highlighters that I’ve had, as in more golden than white or pink, which I really like. It’s subtle as there’s not too much glitter in it, and it creates such a healthy glow. A definite hit for the summer! If you don’t get the Glossybox, this product is only £2.99 at the moment… absolute bargain! This will 100% be a re-purchase for me.
Overall, some really beautiful products this month that I have absolutely loved. As I said, I was a bit disappointed in the sizes of a couple of the products this time, but I didn’t mind as the products featured this month were all so lovely, and the brush itself was worth more than the box! Definitely recommend this box this month – I was really happy with it!
