To escape the perilous Storm Doris in England last week, my boyfriend and I decided to seek some winter sun but without the long-haul flight and found ourselves in the wonderful world of Marrakech.
Another Garnier Ultimate Blends review! (I know I cannot get enough…) This time it is the scrumptious Honey Treasures ‘The Strength Restorer’ balm.
For hair craving intense care, Garnier have created this balm to use once or twice a week instead of conditioner. Apparently, from the first wash hair feels healthier, stronger and breakage is reduced. Garnier also claim that in just one minute, hair feels intensely nourished and revitalised with a feeling of new strength.
It is made with a blend of 3 ingredients from the beehive: Honey, Royal Jelly and Propolis, meaning it is sure to smell lovely!
As far as my love for makeup goes, I’ve never been a lipstick fiend. I like my subtle nudes: think Mac’s Velvet Teddy or Max Factor’s Burnt Caramel. I’ve always wanted the ‘your lips but nicer’ look that you can wear with heavier eye make up or put more colour into your cheeks.
Charlotte Tilbury’s latest release of her Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillowtalk not only claims to fit that brief, but also makes the very bold claim to be the perfect shade for every skintone. Is it true? Only one way to find out!
I was really, really surprised when I came across this new item in Superdrug over the weekend. Although I am trying to prioritise getting more volume into my hair, I couldn’t help but wonder what the effect was of literally washing it with maple syrup. It is for very damaged hair which my hair is not particularly, but hey what harm can a bit of extra love do.
